Season Accumulator Series
We are excited to introduce a new scoring system for our Season Accumulator Series; one which encourages participation across a wider range of levels, and rewards improvement of scores.
Rules
1. Awards points can be earned at all Dressage Canterbury Group (DCG) run “graded” events (Non-graded ie, training, World Dressage Challenge, South Island Dressage Champs and Protocol days are not included).
2. Points are accrued as a combination, and may compete in more than one level. However, combinations will only be eligible for a championship in one level, and must nominate their chosen level by 1st January 2026.
3. Riders must be registered with ESNZ and reside in Canterbury Area- (between the Rakaia & Conway Rivers). Casual start fees (‘Per event’ or ‘Flexi’) are allowed; not restricted to per annum starts.
4. Maximum of 10 scores to count from Graded events per the official DNZ Calendar.
5. Classes such as Equitation, Young Horse, FEI and Musical Freestyles are included.
6. In the event of a tie, the combination with the highest average percentage from the top ten scores will be deemed the winner.
Points will be awarded on the following basis
>72%: 10pts
70 - 71.99%: 7 pts
67 - 69.99%: 5 pts
64 – 66.99%: 3 pts
