Dressage NZ Board, Committee, Sub-Committee & Other Vacancies 2026

These vacancies are accordance with the current Dressage By-Law 17 and /or Terms of Reference which will remain in force until a Special AGA is held to approve changes to the By-Law17 currently under review .

1. Marketing & Communication - Dressage Board Member

Expressions of Interest are open for this appointed position (3-year term with the possibility of further two x three year terms )

Travel and accommodation expenses to Board meetings or any other Board activities required are paid or reimbursed

EOI close on Friday 29th May at 5pm

2. Development - Dressage Board Member

This is an elected position, voted by the Committee ay the Dressage AGM. (3-year term with the possibility of further two x three year terms )

Travel and accommodation expenses to Board meetings are paid or reimbursed. Nominations close on Friday 29th May

3. Other Vacancies

a) Committee Representative to Appointment Panel. Elected position (By Dressage Committee at Conference)

Nominations are open. This role may come from within the current committee or may be an ESNZ member not currently on the committee as an area voting delegate or other role. The Chair and one other member of the current Dressage Board along with this elected member make up the Dressage NZ Appointment panel

Position becomes effective on 1st July. Nominations close Friday 29th May

b) 2 X Island Rider Reps (Committee Voting Positions) Elected by riders

Nominations are open. If more than one nomination for either role is received, an online election will be held.

Positions effective for Conference 2026. Nominations close Friday 22nd May

c) Dressage NEC Reps, one to each Island NEC. EOI invited for one Dressage rep to each NEC. (Not committee voting members)

Positions effective following advice of appointment

EOI close Friday 29th May

d) Rider Representative on Development Committee: Appointed Position. EOI invited. This is a two-year term working with the Development Committee to assist Dressage NZ achieve strategic outcomes and programmes for members.

Position effective 1st July 2026

EOI close Friday 3rd June
